The Avicenna Foundation Scholarship Programme provides leadership support and development as well as a scholarship for undergraduate study at a UK university. The Programme enables talented young Muslims from around the UK to have access to higher education while receiving a holistic support package, enabling them to achieve their full potential and develop into future leaders and changemakers.
The application process is competitive, and the programme is designed to push and challenge Scholars to excel as high-impact leaders, innovators, and changemakers in their fields. We encourage applications from talented Muslim students across all parts of the UK.
The Avicenna Foundation Scholarship covers the annual UK University tuition fees up to a maximum of 4 years. It does not cover living or maintenance expenses, which will have to be funded from the student elsewhere.

Help Avicenna give more scholarships to disadvantaged young people to make a future for themselves.
The Scholarship do not cover accommodation or other living costs such as travel and bills. For other costs, including accommodation can be very expensive so we are introducing a hardship fund to help with living costs.
A bursary is a non-repayable award given by Avicenna Foundation as extra financial help. Unlike the scholarship, bursaries are awarded to students who meet specific set criteria, usually relating to personal circumstances, rather than academic achievement.
